Work At Home Scams
Not all work at home opportunities deliver on their promises. Some classic work at home scams found on Google are medical billing, envelope stuffing and assembly or craft work. Ads for these businesses say: "Be part of one of America's fastest growing industries. Earn thousands of dollars a month from home!" Legitimate work at home program promoters should tell you, in writing, what's involved in their program.
You might be tempting during these uncertain economic times, but beware of any offers that promise easy money for minimum effort many are scams that fill the coffers of criminals. If you have ever been involved in one of these work at home scams you are definitely not alone, as much as I hate to admit it I fell for a couple of these myself. It took me about a year before I was able to find honest and passionate entrepreneurs who took me under their wings and saved me a lot of time and money. Make sure you due your research about whoever you are thinking about going into business with.
